Chopsy Baby is reviewing… EZ Fort from Maps Toys

Chopsy Baby Says: “Tubes, balls, just add a sheet.”

Rating: 9/10

What is it?

EZ Fort is probably one of the best construction toys outside of LEGO. It consists of a 54 piece set of tubes and balls that can be made into forts, dens, houses, boats, the list of possibilities are endless.

The kit is quite substantially made and holds up well to the pushings and tuggings of those eager young hands without grace.

A catalogue of other products give good ideas of the kind of constructions you can make, but effectively, start building from the ground upwards. You will quickly learn which approach to take and what lengths to use where.

For tents and houses, you can peg on a bed sheet. This is about the right weight for the construction.

EZ Fort is perfect for use on patios, on grass and even inside on carpet. It stretches the imagination and encourages problem solving, design and engineering. Once the children – or adults because this is rather fun – have finished building, the practical stuff is over and its time for imaginative play. Not many toys are as broad as this in their play value. There are so many other practical uses for this toy. Adults can make a sunshade for the garden, hang clothes on inside a cupboard or other storage solutions around the home and garden.
