SQUEASE jacket to help those needing deep body pressure – or a big hug
A special jacket to help alleviate anxiety in people with Autism is to launch at the Autism Show at London’s ExCel this month.
The SQUEASE, can be inflated by its wearer will help stop anxiety, caused by certain conditions, that can be improved through deep body pressure – or a big hug.
Currently, the only alternative to this type of garment is the use of heavy blankets, weighted jackets or tight fitting clothing.
The SQUEASE can be worn under normal clothing and can be inflated by an attached hand device to give the right amount of pressure as a self-management treatment.
The jacket is also suitable for use by people with ADHD, cerebral palsy, dementia and Down’syndrome.
