Parents have less than one hour a day to themselves
Parents feel their lives are one big juggling act, with raising children, working and housework leaving 85 per cent with less than one hour a day to themselves.
A poll of 1000 people commissioned by CrossCountry, found that one in ten parents only get ten minutes to themselves each day.
The average parent was found to work up to nine hours each day, an hour getting children to school, an hours commute, with an additional one in four parents working from home in the evening.
A third of parents don’t even make to to bed until after 11pm.
David Watkin of CrossCountrysaid: “The life of a parent is getting harder as they juggle the pressures of home and work life, which can often leave them with very little time to themselves.”
