This Month: August 2012

It’s August. Where the hell did the year go. We checked down the back of the sofa and under the bed. But no luck finding it. This month, we have a huge pile of great books we want to tell you about, and dedicate the entire month to Sooty.

Jess Trending writes: “You covered a second hand baby shop in Bristol some time ago. What was it called again?”

Chopsy Baby Says: “Hi Jess. It was Practically Perfect in Bristol. They have just branched out to another store in Keynsham.  Phone number: 07831 721337.”

Fresh from the CiTV channel, the all-new reborn series of The Sooty Show featuring Sooty, Sweep and Soo with host Richard Cadell, is to be released on DVD this summer. This DVD is crammed full of magic, mayhem and mess to fill every child with giggles and laughter. Is marriage for suckers? Or is it still worth signing up for?

“I married once and swear I will never do it again. I think children can be brought up in stable relationships without a difficult binding contract.”

Clair Devises
Mother of one

“No. I am happily married and have been for six years. I really recommend it. It shows commitment.”

Sue Jones
Mother of three

“Yes. I don’t see what difference a piece of paper makes. If we do ever split up, it will be cheaper than going through all that paper work.”

Erin Douglas
Mother of five

Blast off the cobwebs with this fantastic classic from 1994. The Offspring’s Smash maybe getting on for 20 years old, but it still packs a punch.
