Chopsy Baby is reviewing… Sweet Mandarin Dipping Sauces

A secret recipe passed down by word of mouth through four generations, has finally been bottled and is now adding sumptuous flavour to Chinese meals across the UK.

The new range of dipping sauces under the Sweet Mandarin label, has been created by twin sisters Helen and Lisa Tse in their Manchester based restaurant.

Customers visiting the restaurant loved the sauces so much, demand became high for a way of experiencing the authentic flavours at home.

The range includes: Barbecue, Sweet Chilli, and Sweet and Sour.

There’s no doubt these sauces have been made with love because they are delicious. The high quality yet very affordable product, bursts with flavour and puts other lesser supermarket brand products to shame.

Though billed as dipping sauces, each bottle serves a diverse range of culinary purposes. Of course, as a dipping sauce is one. But the Sweet Chilli flavour is perfect for pepping up a Quorn stir-fry or noodles. The barbecue sauce is ideal for home made ribs, a packet of dipping crisps or even adding to oven roast wedges.

Rather like a fine wine, there are both subtle and zingy flavours to enjoy and savour.

Once open, the sauces are fine to be kept in a fridge for a good amount of time – up to four weeks.

The range makes the perfect flavouring for a quick meal at five pm when everyone is hungry but you just can’t be bothered to create from scratch.

The Sweet Mandarin Sauce range is gluten free and contains no MSG or artificial colours or preservatives.
