Chopsy Baby is Reviewing… Dear Zoo Dog in Carry Case

Chopsy Baby Says: “A lovely item and very well made.”

Rating: 10/10

What is it?

Dear Zoo,

I wrote to Father Christmas to send me a toy.

He sent me this puppy.

He was perfect.

I kept him.

It’s hard to believe that Rod Campbell’s book is thirty years old this year, but still it continues to delight and entertain.

As part of the celebrations, a gorgeous range of toys have been released so children can join in the fun at book time.

There are many gift options for youngsters this Christmas available at the Dear Zoo online shop.

For something really perfect, the Dog plush toy in a fun carry bag is ideal for both snuggles at bedtime and to carry around.

The toy dog is perfect in little hands, measuring approximately eight inches, and comes easily in and out of the carry bag. It also fits in the bag well and will not tip out so you won’t have to go back scouring pavements.

The toys is very well made. Good stitching and excellent quality. The dog has short but soft pile that does not come out when tugged. The bag handle small enough not to go around necks.

Two year old Astrid and mum Jen Smith.

Jen says: “The Dear Zoo range of toys are all so gorgeous, it’s hard to pick any one out. I realised I was reviewing the puppy a bit for myself as well as for a child. I allowed my two year old to have this. She totally loves it, even though I don’t think I have read the book to her recently. She calls the dog puppy and takes it to bed with her. Being a child who likes to fuss around with things, she really enjoys taking it in and out of the bag. A total hit.”

Best for ages:
Two years upwards

How much time can you get out of it?
Depends on the child, but could well become a bedtime favourite.

Best of all…
It’s really well made and has its own carry bag.

Could improve…
Nothing.

Basically…
A lovely inoffensive Christmas gift for a preschooler.
