First Bus Bristol – Waiting for buses week beginning 26/11/2012

There has been some outstanding rubbishness from First Bus Bristol this week. Here are some of the highlights:

Wednesday 28 November

Number 1 Repton Road – Broomhill
14.32 – Missing
17.26 – Missing
17.28 – Missing

Number 1 Fermaine Ave – Cribs Causeway
No bus between 18.00 and 18.45. Three quarters of a bloody hour and around 4 buses missing. Disgusting.

While talking with other people waiting for the no-show buses, one lady informs me she had recently had a reply from First Bus to regarding a complaint she made about the bus service being so poor. She said she received a ‘snotty’ letter informing her there were service missing due to ‘traffic’ and ‘staffing difficulties’.

Currently, the average wait for a number 1 bus in Bristol is 45 minutes during which time there should have been at least three buses.

Friday 29 November
While waiting for a late number 1 bus in Bristol  City Centre, an elderly gentleman chatted away about the service. He said he had waited an hour for a number 1 bus in the early evening to get him into town.

This Week’s Verdict – Truly Crap
