New resource from ERIC to help school staff deal with continence issues
A new resource to help professionals deal with continence issues in schools has just been released.
Childhood continence charity ERIC, has launched a pack for teachers, health care professionals and parents to help them manage continence issues in learning environments.
It has been developed in response to a 2012 survey by ERIC and the ATL (Association of Teachers and Lecturers) which revealed 71 per cent of teaching staff in the UK have noticed an increase in continence issues with three to five year olds.
The new resource includes information on continence problems and how to create plans to deal with them in schools.
