Cutesy talking to babies causes major irritation

As parents we may feel our own children are usually wonderful, both research shows that those around us see things completely differently.

According to a survey involving 1,254 participants in the UK, 56 per cent claimed to be irritated by the parenting habits of those around them.

The study by MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, found the top irritation was when adults talked to babies with a ‘cutesy’ voice.

Clogging up news feeds with baby related statuses on Facebook, was the second biggest irritation. This was closely followed by putting babies on the phone.

In fourth place, not disciplining children when unruly in public, was also a major irritation.
