Christopher’s Smile

We received an email from one of our readers asking us to highlight smaller charities and worthy causes that do not pounce on pedestrians from all angles whilst crossing central Bristol. The reader thought there were many great charities out there who deserved support, but did not have the same marketing clout as the bigger ones. We thought we would start off with Christopher’s Smile.

Christopher’s Smile

This charity was set up in 2008 by the parents of a child who tragically died from medulloblastom, a form of childhood brain tumour.

Running in partnership with the Institute of Cancer Research, Christopher’s Smile aims to raise money to fund the development of new drugs to treat childhood cancers without the terrible side effects.
