Topsy and Tim are making a come back this year, what with the new CBeebies series and set of new books by Jean and Gareth Adamson.

Bless the Adamsons for making a trip to a garden centre during snowy weather and at Christmas look both fun and appealing.

The sweet story follows a very typical family shopping trip with all the fun stuff and none of the tears and tantrums. Topsy and Tim’s parents are still married and Santa has specific sacks for girls or boys.

A perfect book for sharing under a duvet a bedtime while you try to avoid dying from the cold.
