Cut car seat confusion with Britax Fit-Finder

The UK law for child car seats underwent a re-haul in 2006, yet parents and carers are still confused  about which seats and why.

The current law requires all children travelling in cars to use a child restraint until they reach the height of 135 cms or the age of 12.

To cut out the confusion, Britax have launched a Fit-Finder, which helps parents choose the correct child car seat for their child and make of car.

The Fit-Finder allows parents to select the age or weight of the child, and then a make, model and year of car car from drop down menus.

The Finder will give parents a selection of Britax Child car seats that have been tested for the selected car.

The recently improved Britax website also has a New Safety Centre, giving parents details on how to choose car seats, and information on ISOFIX.
