No plastic and good quality parents expect from toys this year

Here’s hoping Asda has put its money where its mouth is, because the supermarket has just released findings from a survey they conducted about toys breaking easily.

According to research from George Home, more than half of the parents polled said their children managed to break gifts soon after opening the box.

Hand me down toys are passed from child to child by three quarters of families, with a third saying they want to buy toys now that can be given to future siblings.

George Home, recently launched a range of 31 wooden toys for their winter line in reponse to parents wanting less plastic and more quality.

Asda’s Senior Buying Manager for Toys, Chris Norris said: “With children regularly breaking their toys, it is no surprise that parents want something with a longer life span. With Asda’s new range of purse-friendly Wooden Toys, parents can celebrate traditional past times with toys that stand the test of time.”
