Best Baby Names for 2015 by Siobhan Thomas Review

Siobhan (pronouced shiv orn for those who also wish to avoid embarrassing themselves) Thomas’ book Best Baby Names for 2015, is one of the better baby naming books available.

As well as having the standard boy/girl names with meanings and pronunciations, it also offers plenty of inspiration through 100 different lists of themed names.

These inspiration lists include names of recent high achievers, celebrity baby names and interestingly, British bakers.

There are a few differences between baby naming books, with this one informing me I had named one child after a wide meadow and the other beautiful goddess. Somewhat of a contradiction to meaning given by a different book.

But rather helpfully, for those wanting to avoid the next surge in popular names created by popular culture, it offers up lists of names from fiction, music and Hollywood.

The only danger this book poses, is to the non-pregnant, who are very likely to be totally inspired by the fantastic names this book presents.
