TV and a Takeaway at home is the new Saturday Night

A poll of 2000 adults by Morrisons finds that 60 per cent of us are happier in on a Saturday evening watching TV and eating a takeaway.

After a busy week working, the weekend is often seen as a chance to catch up on quality family time with just three per cent opting to go out instead.

Apparently, for the masses, prime time family entertainment shows are a must instead of a drama series.

For those who don’t have a family fall out over Monopoly, playing board games is the next most popular way to spend the evening, followed by cooking a meal together then playing on the xbox or playstation.
