Andy Day takes the stage with Shaun the Sheep in The Bristol Hippodrome’s Christmas Pantomime
According to the Cooperative, the ones that haven’t been blown up in Bristol, Christmas has been fast approaching since September. So, it’s time to turn our minds to Christmas pantomime season.
Last year, the Hippodrome came up with a cracker of a Christmas show and this year’s line up features the equally exciting Andy Day. Yes parents, that is Andy Day of CBeebies in Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs.
After the excitement of the Shaun the Sheep trail across Bristol this summer, families will be able to see the Aardman favourite taking part in the pantomime line up alongside Kim Ismay, Return of the Jedi’s Warwick Davis and of course, Andy Ford.
Marketing Manager at The Bristol Hippodrome, Steve Jones said: “I’m delighted this year we have Snow White which is the perfect family panto for Christmas. Add to this the casting of Harry Potter and Star Wars fame Warwick Davis and Bristol audiences are in for a real treat. A warm West Country welcome awaits CBeebies Andy Day as Muddles in his first visit to the Hippo and the return of Bristol’s favourite ‘babber’ Andy Ford. We are all in for a great season this year! Oh yes we are.
The pantomime is running at The Bristol Hippodrome from Saturday 5 December 2015 until Sunday 3 January 2016.
There will be a signed performance on Tuesday 15 December at 7pm, a captioned performance on Thursday 17 December at 7pm and an audio described performance on Friday 18 December at 7pm.
There will also be a relaxed performance on Tuesday 29 December at 2pm.
