Places Now Open for Application on the NCT Foundation Degree
The NCT is looking for people to train on its Foundation Degree to help support parents in their local communities.
The childbirth charity has places for 120 people to study and qualify to become antenatal teachers, breastfeeding counsellors and doulas.
The foundation degree is accredited by the University of Worcester, with participants being able to study full time or part time through nationwide tutorials, online and study days.
Head of NCT College, Clea Harmer says: “We’re trying to make this qualification accessible to students wherever they live as we need practitioners from all corners of the UK.
“Being an NCT practitioner is a great way to work with new mums and dads on their journey through early parenthood and it can be an extremely rewarding job.”
Anyone who requires further information should call Juliana Beardsmore, NCT’s Admissions Manager on 0208 752 2453 / 01905 542 477 or visit: www.nct.org.uk/NCTFoundationDegree
