UK Tour Premiere of of Mamma Mia! Starts at The Bristol Hippodrome This Year
The Bristol Hippodrome will soon be hosting the UK Tour premiere of Mamma Mia!
Opening on Friday 25 March and running until Saturday 07 May, it will be the first time the popular show has toured the country.
The musical is only one of five to have run for more than 10 years in the West End and on Broadway.
The show is written UK playwrite Catherine Johnson with music & lyrics by Benny Andersson & Björn Ulvaeus.
Writer Catherine Johnson said: “I’m delighted that The Bristol Hippodrome will be the first stop on this exciting new UK tour of Mamma Mia! It’s especially meaningful to me that we will be starting in my home city. I hope Bristol audiences will embrace the show again and have a great time.”
