Bristol Food Connections 2016 free food festival takes place this month

Watch out for the Bristol Food Connections food event taking place at the end of this month.

The free city wide event is running from Friday 29 April until Saturday 07 May 2016 and is suitable for families regardless of their culinary habits.

There are over 100 different events for foodies and families during the nine day event as well theatrical, education and historical activities for children.

There will be lots of artisan food and drink to taste and buy from stalls in Millennium and Anchor Square.

Further events will also be taking place at Blaise Estate, Brandon Hill Castle and Arnos Vale.

Festival Manager, Aine Morris says: “We believe in the need for a new kind of food festival, one that delivers much more than just the opportunity to watch others cook! We are so excited at the prospect of everyone being able to roll up their sleeves, learn new skills, eat some incredible food and have some fun.”

Bristol Food Connections is produced in partnership with Great Western Railway, the BBC and Bristol City Council.
