Forest School Activities at Home for Toddlers and Children
Parents are fighting over themselves to get their children into Forest School groups in Bristol. Especially with the warmer weather, nature play and exploration is a big thing in the city’s green spaces.
Play The Forest School Way, aims to help parents develop Forest School play at home with their own children.
It features practical activities such as making a bow and arrow, how to find safe foods and nature jewellery making.
Out in June, it’s aimed at parents with children aged from preschool to 11 years and written by Jane Worroll, an ex-countryside ranger, and Peter Houghton, a trained Forest School leader.
