82 Per Cent of Parents Think Teachers are Under too Much Pressure
Sometimes teachers can’t do right for doing wrong when it comes to threads on parenting forums. But even though so many moan about their child’s teacher, 84 per cent of parents said they would never be a teacher themselves and 82 per cent felt they were under too much pressure.
And more good news is that 72 per cent feel teachers have too much work to do and 69 per cent think they’re underpaid.
The findings come from a survey of 1,156 UK parents with school aged children, though didn’t say how many parent teachers took part.
The survey by One4all, found that parents in Edinburgh were the most generous with thank you gifts, spending an average of £25.63 on the class teacher.
Reminiscing parents said that in their own childhoods, English teachers were most popular at school, followed by maths science, history and finally P.E.
