Teeth Fairies in the North West Most Generous
The tooth fairy cost me £14 last week, which is somewhat less than the going rate in the South West, but a limit had to be set after some fairly extensive dental surgery.
But it’s not a bad deal considering she pays out just 50p per tooth in the West Midlands.
According to findings by VoucherCodesPro.co.uk, the highest average tooth fairy pay out went to the North West, who paid an average of £6 per tooth, showing a stark difference of £5.50 in regional variation.
According to nearly 2500 parents, 96 per cent of children eight years and under believed in the tooth fairy.
And I’m not alone when it comes to forgetting to put the money under the pillow, with 34 per cent of parents also admitting they had forgotten to acknowledge her visit at least once.
Parents in the South West fell squarely in the middle of the high to low chart, paying an average of £3.70 per tooth or £74 per set of baby teeth.
