Create Sensory Input to Help Relax Reluctant Readers

Some children just aren’t into the whole reading thing. It can be absolutely maddening for parents or carers trying encourage their youngster even with early days Biff and Chip books.

Sometimes, changing or adapting the environment might work. Creating snug or safe reading corners can help calm children down or even provide sensory input or fidget opportunities.

Try canopies, giant bean bags, different fabrics, blankets and even mermaid fabric as a fidget.
