Parents with babies and children aged five years and under, can find a range of important safety advice regarding product recalls and staying safe in the home from the Buy Wise Be Safe (BWBS) website.
The site aims to cut down on the number of children who die or are injured every year.
According to statistics, approximately 60 children die, 450,000 visit A&E, with a further 40,000 attending hospital as an emergency due to unintentional injury in the home every year.
BWBS originally started in 2005 working with parents of babies and toddlers in South West Sure Start centres and has gradually extended its scope to include families with children under five years.
