Driving dads clock up 56,000 miles and spend six months of their life being treated as a taxi service by their children.

By the time the children turn 18, UK dads will have covered the equivalent of driving from London to Paris 266 times.

More than 90 per cent of dads polled by Motors.co.uk, spent at least five hours a week driving their children around, with an astonishing 8.3 per cent travelling more than 80 miles every week.

Despite the lengths and distances dads drive, an ungrateful 1 in 3 children claimed to be embarrassed by their dad’s car whilst on the school run. We reckon they should walk instead.
