Theatre Casting News: Joanne Clifton to Continue in Flashdance – The Musical in 2018

Strictly Come Dancing’s Joanne Clifton, will be coming to The Bristol Hippodrome next year, after it was announced she will continue in UK touring production of Flashdance – The Musical.

Joanne will be playing the lead role of Alex Owens in a tour that will visit 23 venues in 2018.

“I am having the best time ever on this tour and so am delighted to be staying on for 2018,” Joanne Clifton says:

“We have so much fun on stage and off, and I really am dancing like I’ve never danced before!”

Flashdance – The Musical tells the inspiring story of 18-year-old welder Alex, a who dreams of becoming a professional dancer.

The show will be at The Bristol Hippodrome from 25-30 June 2018.
