The Berkeley – Wetherspoons Pub on Queens Road Clifton Bristol

We’re not really ones for pub going, especially with children. But if you are stuck in Clifton and need somewhere to eat that isn’t typical sour dough fare, then The Berkeley pub is a surprisingly good find. Yes it’s a Wetherspoons. But, that means you know exactly what to expect and the price of the menu is not a frightening surprise if you are in BS8.

It’s suitable for children during the day and afternoon. It is family friendly but it’s not a run riot place if you are a graduate from the Negligent School of Parenting or the Getting Drunk With Children School of Parenting.

Over the course of a few days – sometimes needs must when the Devil drives – we tried a range of items from the menu and found it to be well cooked and perfectly priced.
