Selfish Smartphone Users Won’t Stop Walking into People

There’s absolutely no sympathy here for the fifth of adults bombing into people on the pavement because they were too selfish to stop looking at their phone whilst they were walking.

In fact, if Casumo.com, had run a poll on Maudlin Street in Bristol at 8.30am, they would probably have found more than just one in eight people ending up hurt or injured whilst being distracted by their smartphone.

Perhaps worse than walking into people, one in ten said they used their phone in the cinema despite adverts warning people not to do so and 46 said they had checked their phone during a funeral.

According to the poll of 2000 mobile users, 27 said the way they used their phone also caused a car accident.

It’s really not difficult not to be a selfish idiot with a smart phone. Put it down and watch where you’re going. Novel idea.
