New Vicks BabyRub Aims to Help Grumpy Babies at Bedtime
Any new reputable contender on the market to aid baby sleep is definitely worth a look at. One of the latest ones is from Vicks, who recently launched their new BabyRub formula.
We are all familiar with their vapour rub, a stalwart product that appears to be used as everything from a decongestant to cooking roast potatoes. In fact, think of Vicks and you probably think of being ill in the 70s and 80s. This rub works slightly differently but in 30 years time will take your now baby right back to 2017.
It has been created for little ones aged six months upwards and contains contains the natural aromatic extracts of aloe vera, rosemary and lavender. The idea is to use the rub as part of a long-term bedtime routine to help settle grumpy babies.
In a P&G conducted study which worked with 200 mothers in Germany last year, 92 per cent of parents said that introducing the Vicks BabyRub helped their baby to relax at bedtime. The formula is rubbed across the chest and stomach of a baby, ideally after bath time and before bed.
For £3.99, it’s worth a punt if you are one of those parents whose baby really struggles to settle and sleep. You may be absolutely swearing by it when irritating your future son or daughter-in-law in several decades time.
Vicks BabyRub is priced £3.99 for 50g and is now available in stores nationwide.
Always read the instructions and absolutely don’t use it to roast potatoes.
