Free Be Kind Smiggle Wrist Bands for Anti-Bullying Week
Children in the South West are being encouraged to get involved with Anti-Bullying Week by wearing a special wrist band.
Youngsters can visit their local Smiggle store and pick up a free Be Kind wrist band from Thursday 09 November.
A total of 150,000 bands have been made by Smiggle as part of the Be Kind campaign aiming to get children to Speak Up, Stand Out and Be Kind – and launched by ITV’s This Morning Show.
This Morning Editor Martin Frizell said: “This Morning’s Be Kind campaign has the power to save lives. Every single time somebody stands up to a bully they are stopping the devastating effects bullying can cause. So many children every day suffer in silence.
“We are grateful to Smiggle for their support. Let’s all band together and Be Kind to stop bullying.”
Those taking part in the campaign are being encouraged to wear their free Smiggle wristbands and with parental permission, upload their photos to social media throughout the week to show their support, using the hashtag #BeKind.
