Snow Forecast for Bristol This March Weekend

Snow is forecast for Bristol again this weekend, with a possible flurry early on Saturday morning and a Yellow Weather Warning in place from midnight on Sunday morning.

Met Office Chief Meteorologist Laura Paterson said: “Snow showers will become increasingly likely across eastern, central and southern England on Saturday and then there is the potential for some significant snowfall in places by Sunday, particularly in the South of England. Yellow National Severe Weather Warnings have been issued and updated”.

The Yellow Warning currently covers midnight on Sunday to  midnight on Monday morning. Snow showers are likely to continue through the day causing possible travel delays and cancelled rail and air travel.
