The bonkers world of Dr Seuss, features zany characters in marvellous world doing utterly crazy things.
His books often feature repetitive rhythm and rhyme which is ideal for preschoolers and early readers as they get to grips with books.
The Foot Book which focuses on the repeating of the word foot throughout, is great for children aged 3-4 years to share with an adult. For children who are in reception and starting to learn independently, green backed books such a I Wish I Had Duck Feet and Wacky Wednesday will give them confidence to be able to pick out stories for themselves.
Dr Seuss books aims to make reading fun, and there’s a vast back catalogue for little ones to work their way through which isn’t the ubiquitous Biff, Chip and Kipper.
