Tax credit deadline approaching

Parents should make sure that they have renewed their tax credit claims as the deadline is just a few days away.

HM Revenue and Customs has issued its final reminder to renew now or payments will stop.

Renewing claims can be done over the phone. Claimants need to check the information in the renewals pack is correct or fill in details where circumstances have changed.

The deadline is the 31st of July.
