Make sure you get your free sight tests for children

During the long summer break if you are looking for something to do then why not get your child’s eyes tested?

If children are struggling with their vision it will affect their learning, especially if they are unable to read their books or see what is on the board or computer.

Under the NHS, children up to the age of 16 and those under 19 in full time education are entitled to free eye tests and vouchers to cover the cost of frames and lenses.

It is advised that children have their eyes tested at least once every year from the age of three to 16, or more often if the optician has concerns about their vision.
