Police Appeal For Witnesses to a Phone Robbery in Broadmead

Police Appeal Bristol: Bristol police are asking for any witnesses to a robbery that took part in Broadmead to come forward.

A 15 year old boy was punched and robbed of his phone in The Horsefair, the road that runs past Cabot Circus, on Wednesday 25 April 2018.

The incident happened at 2pm, during a busy shopping day near to Burtons.

Two teenagers attacked the boy who was punched in the head and needed stitches to a cut on his face.

Since the incident, a 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and wounding and released under investigation. A second boy, aged 17, has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and wounding with intent and released on conditional police bail.

Police Say: ‘Anyone who saw the incident, and especially the women who stopped to help, can get in touch online, or by calling 101, quoting reference 5218089244.

Alternatively ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. They never ask your name or trace your call. You could even qualify for a reward and still remain anonymous.’
