Free Family Day Out at Farm Open Days in Bristol This Summer

Free Family Day Out Farms Bristol: Farms in the South West – including Failand in Bristol – will be opening their gates to the public as part of LEAF Open Farm Sunday.

The event takes place on Sunday 10 June, and will allow people to find out more about farming first hand and British agriculture.

Most of the open farm events are free and will be offering a range of activities on the day.

LEAF Open Farm Sunday Manager, Annabel Shackleton said: “From the wheat for our bread and cereals, and the potatoes and pork for our sausage and mash, through to crops for fuel, clothes and even cosmetics, it all begins on a farm. Farmers play a vital part in our daily lives and LEAF Open Farm Sunday is your chance to be part of The Great British Farm Day and show your support for British farmers and farming.”
