Laid Back Bristol Doesn’t Feature on Pushiest Mums City List
Are you a Competitive Mum? Not in Bristol:
Despite being a popular choice amongst families fleeing the South East, Bristol is not home to a significant number of pushy mums, failing to even dent the top ten.
According to research undertaken as part of movie I, Tonya release onto DVD, Cardiff is the UK home of the most competitive mums.
Sheffield came in at second, with Norwich in third. London only made eighth position and Bristol didn’t even get a mention.
The research of 1500 parents also found that one in six UK mums said they were ‘pushy’, with 59 per cent saying they were highly competitive.
Signs of pushy parenting include making your children sign up to every sports club and activity, going on school trips, adding carrot sticks to packed lunches, expensive birthday parties and smugness about aspects of parenting such as never using dummies.
