Finding a job to fit around the school day is a mare for many parents and can seriously affect their ability to return to employment.

Aiming to make this easier for families, Travelodge announced a new recruitment programme today which will offer jobs around school hours.

The company has 3000 positions to fill in hotels across the country, including flexible hours in head office roles and flexible hours in hotels including hotel management, reception, restaurants and housekeeping.

“Travelodge is growing quickly and we want to unlock the potential of Britain’s mums and dads as they return to work,” Travelodge Chief Executive Peter Gowers said.

“Hospitality can offer a great career for parents, with jobs close to home, hours that can match the school run, benefits that suit families and a path into management.”
