Warren Farm Holiday and Touring Centre in Brean, is set across a couple of miles of green fields and broken up into several sections that are both dog friendly and dog free.
A stones throw from the golden beach, the touring camp site at Sunnyside is comprised of generous sized flat pitches with optional electric hook ups.
Touring prices are very reasonable, but advance booking is required as the site appears to fill quickly.
There are plenty of drinking water taps throughout the field, sets of play equipment for children and the world’s best toilets and showers a short walk away.
The camp site has an office with friendly informative staff, a well stocked shop selling everything imaginable and on the main road a chip shop and two family friendly pubs. During high season, the local Beachcomber Inn provides plenty of toe-tapping entertainment. In extreme weather conditions it can be rather bleak and exposed.
We were so impressed with the clean toilets and shower cubicles.

Warren Farm can really be proud of their toilet block. We loved the 24 hour radio which helped us with the weather forecasts.
The long, sprawling beach at Brean is similar to Weston-Super-Mare but unspoilt, without the clusters of shops selling tat. Sand, sea and the hilly walks of National Trust owned Brean Down are mostly all that’s on offer in this area. This is perfect for parents who want to entertain their children in a basic, budget friendly way.
At the opposite end of Brean into neighbouring Berrow Sands, tourists can find Brean Leisure Park and the familiar shops and stalls selling plenty of tat and fast food. Touring prices out of peak season start at £7.00 with 16amp electric hook up an extra £2.50 per unit per night.
Chopsy Baby loves the clean, simple layout of Warren Farm Holiday and Touring Centre. We highly recommend the Sunnyside section which is just a short walk to the basic, sandy beach and within easy reach of all necessary amenities. This camp site will suit families camping with toddlers or children who are very happily entertained by golden sands, sea and a good old fashioned bucket and spade.
