Bristol Pride Crossing Repainted Ahead of Pride Parade

  • The pelican rainbow crossing on Wine Street in Bristol, has been given a fresh lick of paint

Bristol’s rainbow crossing has been looking a bit sorry for itself recently, but has been repainted this week ahead of Pride Parade taking place next month.

Mayor Marvin Rees said that Bristol City Council had not paid for the crossing to be repainted, saying that it was funded by Colas Ltd and Bristol Pride.

The crossing is anticipated to last longer this time after different longer lasting paint was used.
