New Lidl in Bristol Broadmead Opening Date

A brand new Lidl in Broadmead Bristol, will be opening for the first time on Thursday 08 September. The new store has created excitement in an area of the city currently lacking affordable supermarket options.

The supermarket is located on the corner of Union Street and Nelson Street, occupying a unit previously home to H&M.

“We have long been committed to investing significantly in Bristol, ensuring as many people as possible have access to our high quality and affordable produce,” Lidl GB’s Regional Head of Property, Glen Stidever said.

“We are therefore delighted to open our 16th store right in the heart of the city and welcome everyone into our new supermarket. We have received overwhelming support from local residents, and we would like to thank everyone who has played a part in delivering this new store. We now look forward to serving our multi-award winning products to even more of the local community.”

The shop, will create an estimated 30 new jobs in the local community, will also feature an in-store bakery as well as self-service checkouts.

Opening times will be between 7am – 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sunday.
