New mums need other mother's support

It’s official, eight out of ten mums could not have coped with their new baby had they not had the support of friends they made whilst pregnant or another new mum.

It appears these friends remain so for life with 81.9 per cent of mums still in regular contact with these friends, even ten years later.

Most mums made their friends at mother and baby groups and antenatal classes.

The findings came from a mum survey conducted by whatson4littleones.co.uk
