Massive Advertising Billboard Dominates Bond Street

And in another Bristol story news outlets have subsequently picked up from Chopsy Bristol on Twitter, the pavement works that have closed off a section of pavement on Bond Street South, was revealed yesterday to be a gigantic electronic advertising board.

The pavement closure has been annoying pedestrians and cyclists alike, and has seen people making unsafe attempts to cross the major arterial road to get around it.

The new board has been described by Twitter users as ‘a monstrosity’ and additionally met with criticism for how it dominates the shared space needed by pedestrians and cyclists.
