Premier Inn Still Advertising Demolished Bristol Hotel
The Bristol hotel is now completely gone
Kudos to Premier Inn, who despite being informed they are advertising rooms in a demolished Bristol hotel, are likely riding the wind of engagement it prompts.
The Premier Inn (Haymarket) hotel has been knocked down to make way for a new development.
The site is being transformed into a 28 storey Purpose Built Student Accommodation tower. It will have communal roof terraces, lounges, gyms and cinema rooms.
Even as late as the 31 August 2025, Premier Inn’s Facebook ad was inviting people to make a booking at the former hotel.

The building which dominated the Bearpit area was formerly Bristol City Council’s Avon House, an office building.
It was eventually turned into a hotel by Premier Inn back in 1996, remaining a hotel until demolition work began in May 2024.
