Holidays Are Coming – Broadmead Gears Up For Christmas Market
Seating is being removed ahead of the huts
In a little over two weeks, the Bristol Christmas Market will be open and trading in the run up to Christmas.
Seats are starting to be removed ahead of wooden huts being erected.

The loss of seating can make it a difficult period for Disabled shoppers in need of seats.
The seats above have been removed to make way for what is usually a traditional German bratwurst stall topped with a giant Christmas tree.
A Disabled person – who asked not to be named said: “It does make things harder. I know they put wooden seating to go with the food and drink bars. There feels a pressure to then buy something so we can sit and rest.”

The Bristol Christmas Market is due to open on 07 November running until 23 December 2025.
Bristolians are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Alarmed Wooden Santas.
