Man in Hospital Following Serious Assault in St Pauls Bristol
Police appeal for witnesses following incident on Ashley Road
A man is in hospital today in a serious but stable condition following a ‘serious assault’ that took place in the early hours of this morning in St Pauls.
The ambulance service was dispatched to Ashley Road at 5.30am today. They alerted the police to the incident which took place near The Criterion. The road has been entirely closed into this evening.
A spokesperson for Avon and somerset Police said: “Members of the public can expect to see a heightened police presence in the area today and anyone with any concerns is encouraged to speak to their Neighbourhood Policing Team.
“If you were in the area from 5am and witnessed anything suspicious, or have relevant footage which could aid our enquiries, call us.”
