Parents must not forget school place deadline

Parents are being reminded of the deadline for school applications this Friday 23 October at 5pm.

Children starting primary school, or moving to secondary school need to have places applied for before this date.

Applications should be made online at:  www.bristol-cyps.org.uk

The new primary school facilities that were planned at Bishop Road Primary School will not be going ahead, though Bristol City Council stress they are working with schools in north Bristol to create new facilities at Gloucestershire County Cricket Club site for September 2010.

Parents who want to send their child to the new facility should express their interest by email to newsbishopstonprimary@bristol.gov.uk but they must still complete an application giving three other school preferences by the Friday deadline.
