Snow on Tuesday and Wednesday 60 per cent likely

So much for the hysteria of the predicted heavy snow bringing Bristol to a standstill on Sunday evening.

Other than a few light flurries, the cold grip has eased across the country with daytime temperatures starting to edge above freezing across England and Wales.

Now forecasters are 60 per cent sure that the south west will experience further heavy snowfall on Tuesday and into Wednesday.
