Tanning salons may ban children

Tanning salons may soon be banned from allowing under 18s to use sunbeds.

The announcement came today from the Secretary of State for Health Andy Burnham, who is concerned about the ease of access for youngsters using the beds.

The action comes after a Government commissioned report carried out by Cancer Research UK, that found children as young as eleven years of age were accessing them.
