Parents late to collect children due to infidelity

So much for being the most important people in a mother’s life.

A poll of parents run by competition website WinMonkey.co.uk, questioned mums and dads about the reasons they were late picking their children up from school.

Whilst the top excuses for being late were work commitments and car problems, shockingly, 47 per cent of parents were late because they wanted to finish watching a television programme.

The truth didn’t get any better, with 42 per cent trundling in late due to a hair dressing appointment, 34 per cent drinking with friends and 19 per cent were too busy committing infidelity.
